Last week Year 1 had a fantastic week learning to be programmers and learning how to de-bug. They had I-pad day and then used real bee-bots in class. They programmed the bee-bots to move around a map. If they made a mistake they had to de-bug. They learned their left and right to help direct the bee-bots.

This week we have enjoyed drawing a diagram of a plant and labeling it.
We spoke about the different parts and their functions in Science.
In Creative Curriculum we have been learning about the United Kingdom and discussed the differences between there and Qatar.
In Maths we have been using our 100 square to work out more than and less than problems.
In English we wrote a recount of our daily routine. We learned about using an introduction and how to write how we feel at the end of the day!
We are beginning to familiarise ourselves with instructions and directions in order to navigate and plan for our algorithms in our Computer curriculum.
In Qatari History we are learning about the Emir and his family.
